Executive Team

Bob Kraft – President & CEO

After 15 years in advanced aircraft engine engineering at GE and Pratt & Whitney, was the co-founder,VP Engineering, and later, the CEO of Power Systems Manufacturing (“PSM”), a leading gas turbine after-market parts manufacturer. Among PSM’s first products was a cutting edge ultra-low NOx combustion system for retrofit to GE and Westinghouse gas turbines, which reduced engine NOx emissions from 25 ppm to less than 5 ppm. The system is still in service today on dozens of units, and still represents world-class top-tier performance. Under his technical and business leadership PSM became the world’s leading alternate source supplier of advanced components for the state-of-the-art F-class fleet of GE industrial gas turbines. The company’s success was largely built around Bob’s vision of adaptation of aerospace technology to industrial engines and reduced life-cycle cost for fleet owners, and grew sales to more than $100 Million and employment to over 300. Bob stayed on as CEO of PSM after it was sold to Alstom in 2007 for over $242 million.

Jim Kraft – CFO

Jim started his career at Ernst & Young where he obtained his Ohio CPA. Jim has over 20 years of accounting experience, half of these years spent in the power industry – 8 years with Power Systems Mfg. Primary specialty is working in start-up company environment. Other major areas of experience include audit, manufacturing, cost accounting, due diligence and leading integrated system implementations/streamlining existing operations. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cleveland State University.

Steve Quisenberry – COO

Steve has over 17 years of advanced engineering and turbine experience beginning as a flight test engineer for Pratt & Whitney and advancing to the General Manager, Alstom Thermal Service Middle East Operations. As General Manager, Steve was responsible for mobilizing and building the PSM business in the Arabian Gulf. During his ten years with PSM, Steve held managerial positions in Customer Service Engineering, Tendering and led the Project and Long-Term Service Agreement business. Steve graduated from Tulane University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Tony Mansfield – General Manager – Asia

Antony Mansfield joins Powerphase as GM Asia from a history of power generation and gas turbine experience. After studying Mechanical Engineering with aeronautics at Brunel University London, Antony cut his teeth in the industry as a CHP Construction & Commissioning Engineer at National Power UK and then progressed to TUV Energy Germany as a Gas Turbine Performance Consultant, working on cutting edge industrial turbine technology around the world. This experience led to the opportunity to work with the British Ministry of Defense on the privatization & IPO of its Research & Development arm (QinetiQ), specifically within the Advanced Gas Turbine Technology Team. Antony’s most recent experience has been over 10 years with Pratt & Whitney Power Systems (now an MHI Company), operating as General Manager for the companies Asia operations in Industrial & Aero-derivative gas turbines technologies, creating innovative solutions for the challenges of the region’s developing energy needs.

Diego Hernandez – Project Director

Diego joined the Powerphase team in October of 2016 as the Director of Projects. He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. He completed his 23 year career in the US Navy after commanding the USS WYOMING (SSBN-742) a Trident Ballistic Missile Submarine. He brings years of experience in engineering and technical management to include safety, operations, quality control, training, qualifications, process and risk management. He transitioned from active duty to the power generation gas turbine business by joining Power Systems Manufacturing (PSM) where he worked in Project Management.
